Mr. Nethery has extensive experience in handling complex litigation matters. His practice focuses on Real Estate, Commercial and General Civil litigation matters, and on Probate Court litigation involving conservatorships, trusts, and wills. He has practiced law since 1975 in California; and for the past 25+ years primarily in the Coachella Valley and Riverside County State Courts and the U.S. District Court for the Central District of California. Before moving to the Coachella Valley, Mr. Nethery practiced in downtown Los Angeles. In 1981, he joined the Riverside-based law firm of Best, Best & Krieger, where he became a Partner and served as Chairperson of the Litigation Department for the Desert Offices of that firm. In 1998, Mr. Nethery became a founding partner of Roemer, Harnik & Nethery LLP. In 2008, he and Mr. Ofseyer formed Nethery & Ofseyer LLP.

Mr. Nethery is admitted to practice law in the State of California. He is also admitted to practice before various Federal Courts in California, the Ninth Circuit and the United States Supreme Court. Mr. Nethery is a past President of the Desert Bar Association, and is a Founder both of The Warren E. Slaughter/Richard I. Roemer American Inn of Court and of the Federal Bar Association of the Inland Empire. He has served as a Commissioner for the City of Palm Desert Public Safety Commission since 2001. Mr. Nethery has been an Instructor for the National Institute for Trial Advocacy at its San Diego, California Regional and its Boulder, Colorado National Programs. Mr. Nethery is a past President of the Family YMCA of the Desert and of the College of the Desert Foundation. He also serves on the Personnel Committee of the Palm Desert Community Presbyterian Church.
Mr. Nethery holds the Juris Doctor degree from the Gould School of Law, University of Southern California (USC), and a Bachelor of Arts degree in Economics from the University of California at Los Angeles (UCLA).
